La noche de este Domingo 12 de Marzo se realizó la edición número 95 de los Premios Oscar en el Teatro Dolby de Hollywood, en una ceremonia cargado de emociones y en las que no hubo sorpresas, ya que muchos de los pronósticos se cumplieron.
La película ‘Todo en todas partes al mismo tiempo’ fue la gran ganadora de la noche al alzarse con siete estatuillas. De esos siete premios, el más importante fue el de ‘Mejor película’.
Quizás el momento más esperado por todos fue la entrega del Oscar al ‘Mejor actor’. Todo apuntaba a que Brendan Fraser, por su papel en ‘La ballena’, se llevaría dicho premio, y así fue. Todo el contexto alrededor de Fraser hacía que este reconocimiento tuviera un peso extra. El actor pasó por problemas de adicción a las medicamentos por sus problemas de espalda, pero sobretodo sufrió rechazo de Hollywood tras ser víctima de abuso sexual, lo que lo alejo del cine por un buen tiempo.
No obstante, Fraser resurgió como el ave Fénix para con una destacable actuación llevarse el Óscar.
Otra de los pronósticos que se cumplió como se esperaba fue la entrega de la estatuilla a ‘Mejor película animada’. Allí ‘Pinnocchio’, la cinta del mexicano Guillermo del Toro, se hizo con la distinción.
El largometraje se impuso a ‘Red’ de Disney y al ‘Gato con botas: el último deseo’ de Dreamworks y otras producciones.
La película “Everything Everywhere All at Once” se alzó esta noche como la triunfadora de los Óscar al hacerse con siete estatuillas.
